Dummy Contact Sealing Plugs & Sealing Boot

Glenair Dummy Contact Sealing Plugs and Sealing Boot maintain environmental sealing in empty rear-release crimp connector cavities. Made of chemical-resistant thermoplastic, these dummy contacts are available in sizes 8, 12, 16, 20, 20HD, 22, and 22HD/23. The sealing plug tail protrudes from the grommet to facilitate removal with standard extraction tools. Rated for +200°C continuous operating temperature, these sealing plugs save weight compared to installing both an unused contact and a grommet sealing plug. The Glenair Dummy Contact Sealing Plugs and Sealing Boot are compatible with MIL-DTL-38999 connectors, Glenair Series 80 Mighty Mouse, and Series 806 ultraminiature circular connectors.
