OmniOn Power KBV Barracuda Isolated DC-DC Converters

OmniOn Power™ KBV Barracuda Isolated DC-DC Converters are sixteenth-brick low-height power modules that can deliver up to 8.3A/100W of output current. These power modules provide a precisely regulated 12.0V output voltage over wide input ranges of 30VDC to 60VDC (KBVS008A0B) or 36VDC to 75VDC (KBVW010A0B). The KBV Barracuda DC-DC converters achieve a typical full load efficiency of 92.5%. These devices feature constant switching frequencies, negative remote On/Off logic, input under-voltage protection, output overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and over-temperature protection. 

The KBV Barracuda DC-DC converters are available in industry standard, DOSA-compliant footprints of 33mm x 22.9mm x 12.7mm (KBVS008A0B) or 33mm x 22.9mm x 10.7mm (KBVW010A0B). Typical applications include distributed power architectures, wireless networks, access and optical network equipment, enterprise networks including Power over Ethernet (PoE), and industrial equipment.
