Vicor DCM™ DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package provide the leading power density and thermal and electrical performance of DCM technology in a rugged, chassis-mountable package. The VIA packaging technology offers enhanced versatility in converter mounting and cooling. The VIA package simplifies mounting to a chassis or other external heat sinking device and provides improved thermal performance. These Vicor DC-DC converters feature efficiencies up to 93%. The series includes nominal 300VDC input models (180 or 200 to 420VIN range) at output voltages of 12, 24, and 48V and at power levels up to 600W. It also includes nominal 28VDC input models (16 to 50VIN range) at output voltages of 12 and 24V and at power levels up to 320W. DCM DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package are ideally suited for use in a broad range of industrial, process control, automotive, heavy equipment, communications, and defense/aerospace applications.
