Siemens SITOP UPS1600 DC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Modules help bridge long power failures without any interruption. The UPS1600 features intelligent battery management that automatically detects a BAT1600 energy storage unit and ensures optimized temperature-specific charging and continuous monitoring. These Siemens compact DC UPS modules feature overload capability, enabling an industrial PC inrush current. Stand-alone mode supports starting from the battery. The UPS1600 communicates openly over a USB or Ethernet/PROFINET. This DC UPS module is easily integrated into the PC or programmable logic controller (PLC) environment over the two Ethernet/PROFINET ports. UPS1600 modules with Ethernet/PROFINET ports have an OPC Unified Architecture (UA) server, allowing the UPS to communicate with PCs and PLCs, including from different manufacturers. The integrated web server supports remote monitoring of the DC UPS.
