Fairchild FOD8163-Serie Logikgatter-Optokoppler sind 3,3V/5V Hochgeschwindigkeits-Logikgatter-Optokoppler mit einem Ausgang mit offenem Kollektor. Sie unterstützen isolierte Kommunikationen und den Austausch von digitalen Signalen zwischen Systemen ohne leitende Erdschleifen oder gefährliche Spannungen. Die FOD8163-Serie verwendet ein breites Gehäuse, um mindestens 8mm Luft- und Kriechstrecken zu erreichen (FOD8163T).

The onsemi / Fairchild FOD8163 series features an optimized IC design for reliable high-insulation voltage and high-noise immunity. They consist of an aluminum gallium arsenide (AlGaAs) light-emitting diode and an integrated high-speed photodetector.

The output of the detector ICs is an open collector Schottky-clamped transistor. The electrical and switching characteristics are guaranteed over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to 100°C and a VCC range of 3V to 5.5V.
