Mikroe Expand Clicks
Mikroe Expand clicks carry shift registers for use as an I/O expander. Mikroe Expand Clicks communicate with the MCU using SPI, 1-wire, or I2C.

- Uses either a 3.3V or 5V power supply

- MCP23S17 with I2C clock speeds of 100kHz, 400kHz, or 1.7MHz for higher throughput applications
- 16 GPIO pins divided into two 8-bit PORTs
- +3.3V and 5V adjustable power supply selection
- Selectable hardware address using SMD jumpers
- Expand 4 Click Features
- TPIC6A595, power logic 8-bit shift register
- 350mA/50V switching capability
- SPI interface with additional pins
- 5V power supply
