Die RN4871 Bluetooth® Niedriegenergie (BLE) PICtail/Pictail Plus Tochterplatine von Microchip bietet eine Test- und Development-Plattform für das RN4871 Bluetooth 4.2 Niedrigenergie-Modul mit kleinem Formfaktor. Die RN4871 Niedrigenergiemodule (BLE) von Microchip sind Geräte der nächsten Generation mit einer benutzerfreundlichen ASCII-Befehlschnittstelle über UART. Die RN4871 BLE PICtail/Pictail Plus Tochterplatine ermöglicht die Auswertung des RN4871 und die Entwicklung von BLE-Anwendungen mit zwei verschiedenen Methoden. Die Platine kann über USB und ein PC-Anschlussprogramm oder über die PICtail-Schnittstelle mit einer Mikrocontroller-Development-PlattformEntwicklungsplatine von Microchip verbunden werden.
