LITEON LTR-3xxALS-01 Ambient Light Photo Sensors

LITEON LTR-3xxALS-01 Ambient Light Photo Sensors are low voltage I²C digital light sensors [ALS] housed in an ultra-small 4-pin ChipLED surface mount package. LTR-3xxALS-01 converts light intensity to a digital output signal capable of direct I²C interface (Fast Mode @ 400kbit/s). RoHS and halogen-free compliant, these sensors feature a built-in temperature compensation circuit, close to human eye spectral response, immunity to IR / UV light source, 16-bit effective resolution, and they automatically reject 50 / 60Hz lightings flicker. Ideally suited for applications under high ambient brightness, the sensors provide a linear response over a wide dynamic range from 0.01 lux to 64k lux. With six gain settings (1X, 2X, 4X, 8X, 48X and 96X) available to configure and a supply voltage range from 2.4V to 3.6V capable of 1.7V logic voltage, LITEON LTR-3xxALS-01 Ambient Light Photo Sensors are commonly used in backlighting and touch panel control in mobile/portable devices.
