Infineon Technologies XDP711-001 48V Digital Hot Swap Controllers
Infineon Technologies XDP711-001 48V Digital Hot Swap Controllers feature programmable safe operating area (SOA) control designed for high-power artificial intelligence (AI) servers. These Infineon hot swap controllers provide ≤0.4% input and output voltage monitoring and reporting accuracy. The controllers also provide ≤0.75% system input current monitoring and reporting accuracy over the full ADC range. The XDP711-001 features pulsed SOA current control technology for safer turn-on in systems with non-optimal field-effect transistors (FETs), lowering the overall system cost. These controllers can drive multiple MOSFETs in parallel, supporting high-power designs. Options for external FET selection and one-time programming (OTP) provide flexibility for programming faults, warnings detection, and de-glitch timers for various usage models. The analog-assisted digital mode (AADM) offers backward compatibility with legacy analog hot swap controllers.Features
