Hammond Manufacturing ADS Series Adjustable Server Rack Shelves are load-rated up to 550lbs (250kg), available in either solid or vented variants, and constructed from 14‑gauge steel. The Hammond Manufacturing ADS rack shelves provide a heavy‑duty, versatile mounting solution for servers, networking equipment, batteries, and other deep or non‑rack-mount components. Designed for 19" EIA‑310‑E compliant racks, each shelf occupies only 1U of vertical space while telescoping to accommodate a wide range of rack depths. The shelf can also be mounted in a standard tray‑down orientation or flipped (inverted) to accommodate varying equipment heights and clearance needs.
The adjustable depth design allows the shelf to telescope across the full rack depth. When used alone, the ADS shelf supports up to 330lbs (150kg), and with the optional ADSB heavy‑duty support bar, the load capacity increases to up to 550lbs (250kg). ADS series shelves ship fully assembled for fast installation and mount securely to four‑post racks or frames. Each shelf is finished in a durable RAL9005 black powder coat and meets key compliance standards, including TAA, RoHS, REACH, and Greenguard indoor air quality guidelines.
