Digilent 410-353 Pmod CAN CAN2.0B Controller

Digilent 410-353 Pmod CAN CAN2.0B Controller features the MCP26525 CAN controller with the integrated transceiver. This Pmod CAN controller is designed to evaluate MCP25625 CAN chip. The MCP25625 CAN chip connects directly with microcontrollers through an available SPI interface without the requirement of any external level shifters. This chip meets the automotive requirements for low quiescent current, electromagnetic compatibility, and electrostatic discharge. The 410-353 Pmod CAN CAN2.0B controller includes 3 transmit buffers with prioritization and abort features, two receive buffers, an interrupt output pin and a standard DB9 connector for a secure connection. This Pmod CAN controller enables CAN communication between a variety of external devices.

The Pmod 2.0B CAN controller exhibits up to 10MHz SPI clock speed. This CAN controller features 6 Filters and two masks with optional filtering on the first two data bytes. The Pmod CAN controller is suitable for both 12V and 24V systems and operates at a 2.7V to 5.5V supply voltage range. The Pmod CAN CAN2.0B controller comes with a small PCB size for design flexibility.
