Delta Electronics Mfg Corp SMP and SMPM Connectors are ideal as PC board-to-board interconnects and module-to-module interconnects. The unique interface construction design allows for minimal electrical degradation when maximum misalignment occurs. These interconnects offer a low profile, allowing them to fit into tighter packaging than typical micro-miniature RF connectors. SMP series connectors have a DC to 40GHz frequency range and allow devices to be connected in a modular fashion, without the need for cables or threaded coupling mechanisms. The SMP series is designed in accordance with DSCC 94007, 94008, and MÜ-STD-348A standards. SMPM connectors offer a DC to 65GHz frequency range. They are 30% smaller than the SMP series and center-to-center mount spacing is also reduced.
