Connective Peripherals USB Type-C Serial Connector Cables offers hassle-free connection with a reversible USB plug and allows direct connection to laptops, PCs, and Macs. The component design is based on the industry-standard FTDI USB-Serial chipsets. The USB Type-C Serial Connector Cables are offered in a variety of configurations such as USB to RS232 (DB9), USB Hi-Speed to MPSSE, USB Hi-Speed to UART, USB to RS232 (wire ended), and USB to TTL UART. Drivers are also available for a range of operating systems including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Windows CE.

    • Full-speed USB connection via a built-in FT231X chip with a Type C connector

  • USB Hi-Speed to MPSSE
    • Convert USB to a range of protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, and JTAG
    • Hi-speed USB connection via a built-in FT232H chip with a Type C connector
    • Interface with a variety of microcontrollers and sensors
    • Logic connection via 10 single-pole receptacles
    • 3.3V Logic level signals
    • Additional 5V or 3.3V output to power external devices (depending on model)
  • USB Hi-Speed to UART
    • Convert USB to a high-speed UART serial interface
    • Hi-speed USB connection via a built-in FT232H chip with a Type C connector
    • Data transfer rates up to 12Mbaud
    • Fully assisted hardware or software handshaking
    • UART connection via 10 single-pole receptacles
    • Additional 5V or 3.3V output to power external devices (depending on model)
  • USB to RS232 (wire ended)
    • Easily convert USB to an RS232 serial interface
    • Wire ended to allow flexibility in connector shoice
    • Full-speed USB connection via a built-in FT230X chip with a Type C connector
    • Data transfer rates from 300baud to 1Mbaud
    • Fully assisted hardware (RTS#/CTS#) or software handshaking
  • USB to TTL UART
    • Easily convert USB to a TTL UART serial interface
    • Pin header or wire ended connections for UART (depending on model)
    • Logic level signals connect directly to MCU UART
    • Versions available with a range of I/O voltages (5V or 3.3V)
    • Fully assisted hardware (RTS#/CTS#) or software (X-on/X-off) handshaking
    • Data transfer rates from 300baud to 3Mbaud
    • Additional output from the USB supply to power external devices
