Stewart Connector / Cinch Connectivity Solutions RJ45 Punch Down Plugs
Stewart / Cinch RJ45 Punch Down Plugs feature Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A Ethernet solutions designed for quick and easy field terminations. The RJ45 series also includes Cat8.1 field terminatable RJ45 plugs that are backward compatible with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a. The Cat6 punch-down plug is suitable for 1G Base-T networks, while the Cat6A is designed for 10G Base-T networks. These plugs terminate 26AWG to 23AWG cables with a diameter over the insulation of up to 1.6mm (0.063") and utilize robust zinc die-cast housings and latch protectors. These plugs accept an overall cable OD of 6mm (0.236") to 8mm (0.315") and offer built-in compression strain relief.
The easy-to-use color-coded conductor pre-load wire manager provides an efficient termination without needing tools. Bel Stewart RJ45 Punch Down Plugs feature 50µ" of gold plating on contacts for increased cycle life. The plugs are well-suited for shielded and unshielded applications such as data, telecom, wireless, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and industrial equipment connections.
The Cat8.1 field terminatable RJ45 plugs offer Category 8.1 transmission speeds and are a cost-effective solution for upgrading data centers to accommodate the continuous changes in the industry, with the need to switch to a fiber optic solution. The Cat8.1 plugs are ideal for military and medical applications and high-noise environments.
