Boréas Technologies BOS0614 Piezo Haptic Driver
Boréas Technologies BOS0614 Piezo Haptic Driver is based on the patented CapDrive™ technology. This multi-channel driver can drive up to four piezo actuators simultaneously at 60V. The BOS0614 driver includes an internal 10kSps sensing interface that allows the programming of custom press and release haptic feedback on each channel. This driver can automatically play the programmed haptic feedback and send a notification through four GPIOs within 100μs. The four GPIOs can be used as an external trigger and are connected directly to the outputs of a touch controller. The BOS0614 driver is used in seamless user interfaces, human-machine interfaces, and smartphones. The MIPI I3C interface, which is backward compatible with I2C for easy integration, is used to communicate data and configuration to the BOS0614 driver. This interface integrates a Waveform Synthesizer (WFS) and 2kB RAM waveform memory to generate HD waveforms with minimum communication bandwidth.
