Ambiq AM18x5 Real-Time Clocks

Ambiq Artasie AM18x5 Real-Time Clocks combine ultra-low power with a highly sophisticated feature set. The AM18x5 offers significant low power requirements as low as 14nA. The AM18x5 RTCs are based on Ambiq's innovative SPOT® (Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology) CMOS platform.

The Ambiq AM18x5 includes on-chip oscillators to supply minimum power consumption, full RTC functions including battery backup and programmable counters and alarms for timer and watchdog functions, and either an l2C or SPI serial interface for communication with a host controller. An integrated power switch and an elaborate system sleep manager with counter, timer, alarm, and interrupt capabilities permit the AMI8x5 to be a supervisory component in a host microcontroller-based system.
