Die Core™ i3-6100 mobilen Prozessoren von Intel® sind 64-Bit-Multi-Core-Prozessoren, die auf der 14-Nanometerprozess-Technologie aufgebaut sind. Diese Bauelemente werden in einer 2-Chip-Plattform angeboten und sind mit einem diskreten Platform Controller Hub (PCH) der 100-Serien-Chipsatz-Familie von Intel auf dem Motherboard verbunden. Diese Bauelemente nutzen die Energieeffizienz einer neuen Mikroarchitektur, um schnellere Leistungen als Prozessoren der vorherigen Generation zu bieten. Die intelligente Energieverwaltung mit Intel® Turbo Boost 2.0 regelt die Leistung und die Stromversorgung (von Prozessorkernen und Grafiken) dynamisch, steigert die Leistungsfähigkeit dort, wo sie erforderlich ist und spart Energie, wenn es darauf ankommt.
