The XMC4700/XMC4800 combines the extended functionality and performance of the ARM Cortex-M4 core with powerful on-chip peripheral subsystems and on-chip memory units. These devices offer 1MB to 2MB Flash, 200kB to 352kB SRAM. They also include three Universal Serial Interface Channel units (USIC), external memory interfaces, on-chip peripheral subsystems, analog front-end, on-chip debug support, and input/output line. These devices provide an optimized solution to meet the performance challenges of today's embedded control applications.
The XMC4500 Series provides 512kB to 1MB Flash, 128kB to 160kB RAM, additional CAN Nodes (up to 3), SDIO/SD/MMC interface as well as External Memory Interface (EBU) to direct interface with memories, LCDs and proprietary systems such as FPGAs or ASIC.
The XMC4400 Series is offering 120MHz core and peripheral clock speed with 256kB to 512kB Flash, 80kB RAM and 4kB Cache. Up to 6x Timer/PWM modules, 2x POSIF, 4x 12-bit ADC and 4ch ∆∑ Demodulator together with RMII/MII Ethernet and USB FS OTG.
The XMC4300 Series MCUs feature an integrated EtherCAT® node on an ARM Cortex-M processor with on-chip flash and analog/mixed signal capabilities. XMC4300 requires no additional components, such as dedicated EtherCAT ASIC, external memory, or a quartz clock generator, to start up the EtherCAT slave controller. This series enables EtherCat applications in harsh environments with 125°C ambient temperatures.
The XMC4100 / XMC4200 Series - 80MHz, 64kB to 256kB Flash with ECC, 40kB RAM, 1kB Cache, and Programmable Hardware Interconnect Matrix. Up to 3x Timer/PWM modules with to 64-bit resolution, asymmetric PWM, Dead-Time Insertion, fractional clock divider, shadow transfer and external event trigger, High Resolution PWM (150ps) and programmable Comparators, Position Interface (POSIF), 2x 12-bit ADC, 2x 12-bit DAC, 4ch Serial Communication Interface incl. Quad-SPI and FIFOs, 2x CAN 2.0B with 64 Message Buffer, USB FS Device, up to 80MHz peripheral clock speed with up to 125°C Ambient Temperature.
