RECOM Power Innoline R-78 DC/DC Non-Isolated Converters offer efficiency up to 97%, eliminating the need for heatsinks. These high-efficiency regulators are highly suited to replace the LM78 linear regulators and are pin-out compatible with LM78XX linears. The high efficiency of RECOM's Innoline R-78DC/DC single output converters means no heat sinks to take up space and incur additional mounting costs for users. Features of R-78's include very low profiles, low ripple and noise, and short circuit, overload, and overtemperature protection. The R-78 components are fully certified to EN 60601-1-2 (Medical Equipment), EN 55022 (Emissions), and EN55024 (Immunity), EMC standards, and for EN-60950-1 safety.

SMD Isolated Power Modules

RECOM Power SMD Isolated Power Modules provide flexible gate drive bias voltages, ensuring high efficiency and system reliability. These isolated modules offer multiple input ranges depending on the selected variant and temperature range. Each part features two fully regulated outputs that can be user-programmed as asymmetric positive and negative values or as a single positive or negative value to meet requirements for various gate drive voltages. Additional features include various protections, such as input undervoltage and overvoltage lockout, overtemperature, output overload, undervoltage, and overvoltage. R-78T 1.0A Switching Regulator DC-DC Converters

RECOM Power R-78T 1.0A Switching Regulator DC-DC Converters offer a wide input voltage range, efficiency up to 95%, and a low profile SMD package. Three output voltages are available as standard: 3.3V, 5V, and 12V. Due to a 1.5A start-up overload capability, the R-78T converters can be used to replace 1A or 1.5A regulators in many applications. These modules come with three different styles to be pin-compatible with existing solutions, but at a lower cost.
