EFDKA Automotive DC-Link Capacitors

Eaton Electronics EFDKA Automotive DC-Link Capacitors are AEC-Q200-qualified metalized polypropylene film capacitors with high capacitance density. These capacitors are constructed with the film encapsulated in epoxy resin, all enclosed within a robust 2- or 4-copper wire terminal case. The EFDKA DC-link capacitors possess a self-healing property and are highly reliable. These capacitors feature high ripple current and low loss. The Eaton Electronics EFDKA DC-link capacitors operate within a capacitance range of 1μF to 200μF and a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. These capacitors are THB Grade IIIB qualified, making them ideal for harsh environments. The DC-link capacitors are RoHS-compliant and Pb-free. Typical applications include xEV traction inverter, onboard charger, xEV DC/DC converter, solar inverter, UPS, AC motor drive, air conditioner, and SMPS.

Film Capacitors

Eaton Electronics Film Capacitors feature film EMI suppression capacitors constructed of metalized polypropylene film for automotive and high-reliability applications. The film capacitors offer a high capacitance density with self-healing properties and a high ripple current. The EFX1S and EFX2S capacitors also provide a UL 94V-0-rated flame-retardant plastic case. The Eaton Electronics Film Capacitors are ideal for various applications, including frequency converters, DC filtering, solar inverters, onboard chargers (OBC), AC motor drives, switch mode power supplies (SMPS), and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). All film capacitors are lead-free and RoHS compliant within a -55°C to +110°C operating temperature range.
